Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting our Stockton based client in their search for 2 site electricians for an immediate start.

Our client is a specialist in the marine and offshore industry providing power solutions and effective marine automation.

The Role

The role will include, but not be limited to the following activities:

  • Supervision of all personnel working in the Company workshop and on Client sites/vessels, including Company employees, Contract & Subcontracted personnel.
  • Maintaining safe working practices and ensuring all employees, contractors and visitors are operating within the company’s Health & Safety policy rules.
  • Final testing of equipment, ordering materials, assisting with onsite surveys and costings for quotes.
  • Producing job specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), on site permits and policing POWRA’s.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards, ensuring PPE is maintained and used correctly.
  • Verifying Employees and Contractors time sheets

Skills & Experience

  • Previous electrical marine experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Understand & interpret electrical schematic drawings
  • Successful candidates must be able to work flexibly.
  • The role may at times be customer facing and you will act as an ambassador of the company, therefore we are looking for energetic and motivated persons that can form strong and long-lasting customer relationship

Qualification requirements:

Minimum - Time served Apprenticeship, City & Guilds Level 3.

  • 40 Hours Standard Working Hours - 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday
