Qualifications

  • NVQ level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent required.
  • Completed relevant apprenticeship from a recognized institution.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general repairs and maintenance on electrical systems.
  • Investigate and rectify faults to ensure asset reliability.
  • Engage in both scheduled and reactive maintenance work.

Permanent, 37 hours p/w

Location: Northampton, Corby, Kettering, Daventry and surrounding areas

Get ready to make a difference and join us as an Electrician at Anglian Water. You’ll be responsible for carrying out general repairs, investigating and rectifying faults, and completing scheduled & reactive maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets. This role is about protecting our environment and our customers.

With support from a collaborative team, you will develop your experience with assets such as electrical control panels, motor testing, level control equipment, instrumentation, inverters, gearboxes, screw conveyors, and centrifuge equipment. This role has a direct impact on the environment and communities we serve.

What does it take to be an electrician?

  • An NVQ level 3 electrical qualification (or equivalent), 18th Edition electrical City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent
  • Completed a relevant apprenticeship
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Experience in inspections, maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs to large pumps, actuated valves, VSDs, and 3-phase electrical switchgear
