Overview

An Electrical Technician is sought by a manufacturing business offering a pension scheme, holidays, healthcare benefits, on-site subsidised canteen & gym, and opportunities to work on impressive projects. The organisation recently received Top Employer 2023 status and has a long-standing presence in high-profile industries including Oil & Gas and Power Generation. The UK flagship facility is based in LEEDS, conveniently located for commutes from nearby towns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working as part of a skilled team responsible for conducting safe testing of high pressure industrial rotating machinery
  • Working directly from schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings to accurately install various types of sensors and instruments to monitor a vast range of parameters during the testing phase
Requirements
  • Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (apprenticeship, NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3, HNC, HND etc.)
  • Previous experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • The ability to read, interpret and work directly from schematics & drawings
Working Hours

37 per week spread across a day shift pattern:

  • Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 15:30
  • Friday - 07:00 to 12:30
In return, the Electrical Technician will receive
  • Annual Salary: £37,000.01 (£19.23 per hour)
  • Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidays
  • Annual Bonus up to £1,700.00 per annum - subject to company performance
  • Pension Scheme: 15% Combined Contribution (9% Employer / 6% Employee)
  • Access to the onsite canteen (subsidised) and gym
  • Opportunity to work frequent overtime, paid at 150%
  • Free onsite car parking
