Electrical Technician

Salary £37,477 - £51,531 per annum (plus benefits)

As an Electrical Technician at FCC Environment, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our energy-from-waste facility. This hands-on position involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of electrical systems and equipment across the site.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days a week.

What will you be doing?

  • Operate and maintain electrical systems to ensure plant reliability
  • Diagnose, investigate, and resolve electrical faults across plant equipment
  • Assist with planning and executing method statements and risk assessments
  • Support the Engineer in maintaining calibration and communication systems
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and participate in the out-of-hours service
  • Contribute to plant shutdown maintenance and contractor supervision
  • Participate in training and promote safe working practices at all times
