Qualifications

• Electrical qualification must be at Level 3.
• Requires completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
• Strong focus on health & safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Wiring, installing, and maintaining electrical equipment.
• Calibrating and maintaining technical analytical equipment.
• Investigate asset trends and perform interventions.
• Assist with high voltage and automation tasks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure water supply.

Key responsibilities:

You'll be responsible for wiring, installing, maintaining and controlling the high diversity of electrical equipment necessary to treat and distribute water.

This includes:

• Calibrating and maintaining technical analytical equipment

• Investigate asset trends and carry out electrical interventions

• Assist electrical framework contractors and internal high voltage, optimisation and automation teams

• Utilise electrical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve issues

• React to technical issues to maintain water supply

What does it take to be an Electrical Asset Technician?

• Level 3 electrical qualification AND

• Completed an electrical apprenticeship

• Strong health & safety focus

• Industrial electrical experience

• Ability to work standby-by and overtime as necessary

As well as carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on our electrical assets, you will work towards a Licence to Operate Qualification to enable you to operate and maintain water treatment assets and processes.
