Harrogate Integrated Facilities seeks an Electrical Technician to enhance their Estates Team. The role encompasses a wide range of maintenance tasks within an NHS environment, including fault diagnosis on vital systems. Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and prior experience in electrical maintenance, along with effective communication skills.
**Please note, the NHS salary scales have recently changed and are expected to come into effect in October. New starters joining the Trust before this time will commence on the old payscales and will move to the new ones once they have been finalised**
Harrogate Integrated Facilities are looking to recruit an Electrical Technician, to join a dynamic and diverse Estates Team.
The post holder will be part of a team of multi-skilled engineering colleagues, delivering a continuously improving schedule of planned and reactive maintenance in order to provide a safe environment for patients, members of the public, and colleagues at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust.
The Electrical Technician will undertake a wide range of maintenance, repairs, planned preventative maintenance, installation, and minor new works on equipment, plant, and engineering services at Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust and its partners.
The post holder will be required to undertake fault diagnosis on a number of electrical engineering systems, including: power, lighting, access, nurse call, alarms, equipment and accessories, distribution, switchgear, fuses, motors, ventilation equipment, battery and emergency stand-by equipment. Training will be provided for work on specialist systems such as decontamination equipment (sterilisers, washer disinfectors, automatic endoscope reprocessors) and medical gas pipeline systems.
