Electrical Technician required with experience in electrical galley appliances.
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in St Neots. You will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical assembly of in-flight galley appliances, including sub-assemblies. The role also involves conducting thorough product testing, completing test documentation, and diagnosing faults at both the final assembly and sub-assembly levels.
You will work independently within a production cell, collaborating closely with engineers from our test and engineering departments to ensure high-quality standards are met.
Assemble in-flight galley appliances and associated electrical sub-assemblies to required standards
Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics to identify and resolve faults
Conduct product testing for performance, safety, and compliance in line with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP)
Generate and maintain detailed test reports and documentation
Interpret and analyze test data to ensure product integrity
Work independently within a designated cell while maintaining high productivity and quality
Collaborate effectively with engineering and testing teams to resolve technical issues
Electrical Technician experience with galley appliances or similar aerospace equipment
Proficient in soldering to IPC standards
Experience in interpreting technical drawings and schematics
Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Previous experience in an aerospace or high-reliability environment is desirable
Understanding of electrical testing equipment and procedures
Competitive salary up to £31,400 DOE
