Thames Water Utilities Limited, based at Chieveley sewage treatment works, RG20 8TY, is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to inspect, maintain, fault-diagnose, test, install, modify or repair electrical and mechanical plant with minimum supervision.
You'll undertake reactive and planned maintenance, respond to alarms, record asset information, provide technical advice, and support apprentices. 38 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £42,000 and benefits package.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to be based at our Chieveley sewage treatment works, RG20 8TY.
As a successful candidate, you will be using your electrical knowledge as well as your experience to inspect, maintain, fault-diagnose, test, install, modify or repair as appropriate, mechanical plant and associated electrical equipment, in a safe, efficient, timely and effective manner with minimum supervision, allowing us to ensure that all of our sites remain operational for the benefit of our customers.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to Thames Water's environmental impact, and you will be actively helping to reduce pollution from our sites.
Base Location: Chieveley STW, School Road, Chieveley, Newbury, RG20 8TY
38 hours per week, Monday - Friday. 7:30 am - 3:36 pm plus Standby rota payments & Overtime opportunities can increase the earning potential by up to a further £8,000 - £10,000 per annum upon completion of essential company training.
All PPE, tools, plus the provision of a Van when on duty and on call.
