A leading housing provider in Basingstoke is seeking a Senior Technician - Electrical to oversee workplace technicians and manage electrical maintenance and installations. Qualifications

Job description
Overview

Senior Technician - Electrical — Basingstoke (with travel to other sites). Salary £35,000 - £42,500 (depending on experience). Business-use van + fuel card provided. Example Recruitment are partnering with a leading housing provider who own and manage over 84,000 homes across London and the South of England — and are just getting started. We're on a mission to provide affordable homes in thriving communities, and right now, we're looking for a Senior Technician - Electrical to help us maintain and improve our workplace estate.

Role
  • Support and oversee a team of Workplace Technicians
  • Act as the first point of escalation for technical issues
  • Carry out electrical inspections, maintenance, fault finding and installs
  • Provide technical advice and share your expertise with the wider team
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • Support contractor supervision and staff training
What You'll Need
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection and Testing)
  • Experience scoping and delivering electrical works
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • A full UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year)
