About the role:
We are recruiting for an Electrical Technical Support Manager to join Thames Water's waste division. The role can be based at various Sewage Network sites with travel as needed.

Your responsibilities include leading a team of Technical Support Engineers, providing technical support to the Electrical Services team, overseeing installation, commissioning, and handover of electrical assets, and ensuring project delivery aligns with asset standards.

You will engage with Operations, Engineering, Capital Delivery, and Health & Safety teams, support frontline operation and maintenance of electrical assets, and investigate incidents.

• Lead technical support for electrical systems, including risk management.
• Engage with stakeholders to align team activities with business needs.
• Support and deliver high voltage and low voltage asset upgrade schemes.
• Lead fault investigations and produce reports.
• Manage maintenance records, asset registers, and conduct site inspections.

Base Location: Maple Lodge - Rickmansworth - WD3 9SQ

Working Pattern: 36 Hours, Monday-Friday

Candidate Requirements:

• Significant electrical engineering experience in utilities or water sectors.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, electrical safety procedures.
• Operational experience as an Authorised Person.
• Experience in mentoring and managing maintenance activities.
• Degree or HNC in electrical engineering or related experience.
• Training and certification in electrical installations (BS7671).
• Authorized Person appointment for HV or LV systems.
• Proven experience in industrial electrical power engineering.
