This is an office-based role where you will deal remotely with onsite installation issues.
For this role you're likely to have gained experience in a role such as Electrician, Lead Electrician, Electrical Site Manager, Electrical Supervisor, EV Installer or Testing Engineer.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Electrical Technical Advisor to assess and ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of EV systems and components. This role is critical in maintaining industry standards, regulatory compliance, and product integrity throughout the EV lifecycle.
Assist engineers by offering technical solutions over the phone or via live chat.
Offer technical support to other departments, e.g. compliance and aftercare.
Communicate clearly with customers, offering solutions, recommendations, and reassurance.
Review customer submissions prior to installation.
Carry out audits on all completed installations, checking for compliance issues. Where a job is not fully compliant, flag it for the engineer to re-attend.
Update the Zuno admin platform regularly to ensure all recommendations, technical knowledge and information is being recorded for each job.
Review internal/external audit information.
Support internal teams in developing corrective action plans and verifying implementation.
Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation and an NVQ Level 3 (Desired but not essential)
Experience in EV systems, electrical installations (Desired but not essential)
Solid understanding of EV components.
Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. BS 7671, IET Code of Practice for EV charging equipment installation).
Experience with audit methodologies (internal, external, supplier audits).
Strong analytical, communication, and technical reporting skills.
Installation experience of EV chargers/equipment.
Strong domestic retrofit experience.
IT systems such as Microsoft Office.
