Job summary

Zuno is seeking an Electrical Technical Advisor in Leeds to assess EV systems, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and maintain product integrity across the lifecycle. This is an office-based role with remote support for onsite issues.

The successful candidate will review installations, provide technical guidance over calls or chat, and work with compliance and engineering teams to implement corrective actions and audits.

Qualifications

Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (NVQ3 desired but not essential).
Experience in EV systems and electrical installations (desirable).
Solid understanding of EV components.
Knowledge of BS 7671 and IET Code of Practice for EV charging installation.
Experience with audit methodologies (internal, external, supplier).
Strong analytical, communication, and technical reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Assist engineers by offering technical solutions over phone or live chat.
Offer technical support to other departments, e.g. compliance and aftercare.
Communicate clearly with customers, offering solutions, recommendations, and reassurance.
Review customer submissions prior to installation.
Carry out audits on all completed installations, checking for compliance issues. Where a job is not fully compliant, flag it for the engineer to re-attend.
Update the Zuno admin platform regularly to ensure all recommendations, technical knowledge and information is being recorded for each job.
Review internal/external audit information.
Support internal teams in developing corrective action plans and verifying implementation.

This is an office-based role where you will deal remotely with onsite installation issues.

For this role you're likely to have gained experience in a role such as Electrician, Lead Electrician, Electrical Site Manager, Electrical Supervisor, EV Installer or Testing Engineer.

Job Summary:

Experience in EV systems, electrical installations (Desired but not essential)

Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. BS 7671, IET Code of Practice for EV charging equipment installation).
Experience with audit methodologies (internal, external, supplier audits).
Strong analytical, communication, and technical reporting skills.

We'd love if you have experience in:

Installation experience of EV chargers/equipment.
Strong domestic retrofit experience.
IT systems such as Microsoft Office.
