Job summary

Piramal Critical Care is seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to support reliability, maintenance and improvement of electrical, instrumentation and control systems in a GMP manufacturing environment. You will coordinate small to medium engineering projects, troubleshoot PLC/HMI, and work with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

Associate degree in instrumentation, controls, electrical tech or related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment up to 480V.
Ability to read/modify electrical schematics and drawings; coordinate with contractors as needed.
Experience in GMP environments and change management is preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot instrumentation, controls and related systems to support safe manufacturing.
Provide technical support to production, maintenance, and engineering teams during troubleshooting and upgrades.
Lead small-to-mid projects from scope to closeout, including field coordination and documentation.
Install, start up, test and document equipment upgrades for instrumentation and control systems.
Review vendor docs to ensure electrical and control requirements are met; support calibration activities.
Coordinate with electricians, reliability engineers and contractors to complete work safely.
Participate in change controls, investigations and validation activities as required.
Maintain GMP, safety and environmental compliance; build cross-functional relationships.
