About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager / Supervisor to oversee a large project in Newcastle, managing the electrical aspects. This role is crucial in ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee site teams, including contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.
2. Provide technical support and guidance on M&E systems to site teams and stakeholders.
3. Evaluate site performance and recommend improvements.
4. Execute and support electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs to high standards.
5. Ensure thorough inspections and testing of electrical systems, complying with industry standards.
6. Manage jobs and schedule on-site teams effectively.
7. Order equipment and materials.
8. Undertake contract administration.
9. Maintain a document management system and complete documentation per legal requirements.
10. Carry out works in accordance with standards (BS7671/HTM 06-01).
11. Test, inspect, and sign off works; conduct site walk-arounds.
12. Lead the team of employed and subcontracted engineers, including direct management.
13. Improve health and safety and compliance processes.
14. Conduct toolbox talks, site inductions, management meetings, RAMS, and ensure PPE compliance.
15. Collaborate with project managers and team members for seamless execution.
16. Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and clients.

Requirements:

1. ECS Gold Card / Black Card.
2. Minimum 2 years of site management experience.
3. SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
4. Proven experience in a similar role.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. IT proficiency and adaptability to new technologies.
