Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd in the UK is recruiting an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead installation teams on utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects, oversee testing and maintenance, read drawings, identify faults and coordinate with Project Managers to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.

The role offers £56,000–£75,000 per year, £27/hour CIS, weekly payments, 40–50 hours with overtime, travel nationwide, a company van after probation and accommodation when away.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising electrical installation teams.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and identify faults.
• Strong coordinating and project collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising electrical installation teams on utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.
• Overseeing testing, inspections and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Managing electricians, coordinating daily activities and maintaining productivity.
• Supervising installation of inverters, LV panels, cabling and electrical equipment.
• Reading drawings, identifying faults and resolving technical issues.
