Job summary

MPI Limited seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a long-term rail project based in Glasgow. The role oversees electrical works on site, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to programme. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate has rail industry experience and a strong understanding of electrical installation and site supervision, with PTS being highly desirable. This is a long-term contract role on a major rail project with Glasgow as the site.

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Chargehand / Electrical Site Supervisor.
• Experience in rail industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation and site supervision.
• Understanding health & safety requirements.
• Ability to manage and coordinate electrical teams.
• PTS (Personal Track Safety) – highly desirable.
• SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent supervisory qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervising electrical teams and subcontractors on site.
• Coordinating daily electrical activities and resources.
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programmes.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality.
• Liaising with site management, engineers and project teams.
• Carrying out site inspections and monitoring progress.
• Supporting the delivery of electrical installations within a rail environment.
• Ensuring all works comply with relevant rail and electrical standards.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a long-term, ongoing rail project based in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical professional with rail experience to secure a long-term position working on a major project.

The Role

As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

• Supervising electrical teams and subcontractors on site
• Coordinating daily electrical activities and resources
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programmes
