Job summary

A leading M&E contractor in London is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a night shift position. You will manage the electrical shell and core and fit out packages for a £15m refurbishment on a listed building. The ideal candidate has a background in tools, good technical knowledge of mechanical services, and relevant qualifications. The role offers competitive pay ranging from £52.50 to £56.25 per hour.

Client: My client has established themselves as one of the UK s premier M&E contractors. Following their formation almost 75 years ago, they have grown their turnover to over £250m per annum. The business boasts an envious track record of delivering some of the UK s and London s landmark projects. Typically the specialise in major shell and core projects in sectors such as; commercial offices, healthcare, pharmaceutical and education. Despite their size, this Tier 1 M&E Contractor has fantastic staff retention rates with a reputation for looking after their staff. They offer excellent exposure and internal training schemes with a hands-on approach to developing their staff.

Role: Electrical Supervisor (Night Shift) London £52.50-£56.25 per hour

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the electrical shell and core and fit out packages on a commercial refurbishment on a listed building circa £15m M&E value.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of sub-contractors and labour
  • Client liaison and attend site meetings
  • Progress Reporting
  • Responsible for all health & safety at site level including the preparation and issuing of RAMS & and tool box talks where appropriate
  • Weekly H&S Returns
  • Project & programme implementation
  • Understanding of design & drawings
  • Continuous snagging to minimise defects & errors
  • Work with the Project Manager to manage the commissioning process and handover of the project
  • AP duties

The ideal candidate:

  • Progressed from a tools background and have good technical knowledge of mechanical services
  • Experience working in the commercial sector
  • SSSTS/SMSTS Qualified
  • First Aid
