Brighton College seeks an Electrical Supervisor to lead a team of electrical operatives for the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across the estate. You will supervise, plan, and coordinate tasks to ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a core trade (e.g., Electrical).
• Significant experience in facilities maintenance or building services.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, health & safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience in energy management or sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of a team of electrical operatives.
• Allocate tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance to ensure productivity and high standards of workmanship.
• Carry out toolbox talks, and performance reviews with the Deputy Head of Facilities Services.
• Promote health & safety, service delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels and ensure accurate record-keeping.
