Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking an Electrical Supervisor for a 50MW solar farm project in West Yorkshire. The role covers supervising on-site operatives, ensuring productivity and safety, and coordinating LV termination and installation works on a large electrical package.

Based in Leeds with 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, the position is temporary. A valid ECS/JIB Card is essential, and prior solar or LV experience is a strong plus for delivering the project safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising electrical installation projects.

Electrical Supervisor Required Solar Farm Project

Job Details

• Duration: 2 months
• Hours: 10-hour shifts
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (no weekend work)

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising existing site operatives, monitoring productivity, and ensuring work is completed safely and to the required standard.

Scope of Work

The site team is carrying out LV termination and installation works on a 50MW solar project, including:

• Termination of cables into isolation boxes and inverters
• Earth connection installations
• Cable tray installation
• Working with 300mm aluminium cables

Requirements

• Valid ECS/JIB Card (essential)
• Previous supervisory experience within electrical installation projects
• Experience with LV terminations and similar electrical installation work
• Strong leadership and site coordination skills
• Solar farm experience is advantageous
