Job description
Overview

We are actively looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join a higher education institution on a permanent basis in the West Midlands. The role is suitable for a qualified Electrician looking to come off the tools and with management experience step into management.

In return, you will receive 38 days annual leave including bank holidays, health care cash plan, pension and much more.

Responsibilities
  • Surveying, estimating and managing workloads for the electrical team specifically on the void properties for the group.
  • Provide quality control, post inspections and supervisory on completed works of trades operatives and sub-contractors.
  • Carry out works in accordance with trade qualifications and assist the trade operatives to fulfil their work orders.
  • Overseeing electrical testing and minor works.
Qualifications
  • Strong electrical trade background within a repairs and maintenance environment.
  • Knowledge and experience working in higher education or public sector.
  • 18th edition and 2391 Inspection and Testing
  • NVQ City and Guilds Level 3
