We are recruiting for the following freelance role in Wiltshire, there is also a further 2 years work to follow on another project in Dorset with the same contractor.

Required: Electrical Supervisor
Employment: Freelance
Start Date: end of March 2025
Duration: 10 months +
(Client has a further 2 years work on major project to follow)
Location: Trowbridge
Site Hours: 43hrs p/w (finish at 14.30 on Fridays)
Payments: weekly
Pay rate (CIS): circa £30p/hr (there is some room for negotiation, depending on experience).
Type of project: New commercial installation
Qualifications required: JIB/ECS Gold Card (ideally Approved Status), SSSTS & 18TH Edition. The client will cover First Aid at Work if required.

Duties:
Oversee the day-to-day Electrical operations:

  • Liaise with main contractor on day-to-day basis to ensure smooth running of site
  • Planning work, arranging materials, checking quality of installation, and managing H&S
  • Managing Sub-Contractors
  • Daily reporting back to Project Manager
  • Ensure good time keeping/housekeeping
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Be committed, self-motivated, and hold very good organisational skills.
