Job description

Overview

We are seeking two experienced Electrical Supervisors to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Slough.

Location: Slough

Contract Length: Immediate start - February 2026 (with potential extension to December 2026)

Shift: 13:00 - 23:00, Monday-Thursday (Friday and weekend work may be required)

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations, carrying out safe starts and PTPs.
• Oversee installation and testing of electrical systems including:
  • Fire alarm systems (including ASD).
  • Structured cabling installations.
  • General lighting, small power & containment.
  • LV cabling & busbar systems.
  • Electrical testing and commissioning.
• Ensure all works are carried out to the highest safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Proactively support and motivate operatives to meet project targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience working on data centre projects.
• Proven track record supervising 5-25 operatives.
• SSSTS / SMSTS and First Aid certification.
• ECS Gold or Black Card.
• C&G 2391 or equivalent.
• Manual Handling training.
• IPAF 3A/3B.
• Pasma (ideal, not essential).
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning practices.
• Proactive team player with excellent communication skills.

Hours & Pay

Standard: 13:00 - 17:30.

Overtime: 17:30 - 23:00 (paid at time + 1/3).

Two 30-minute breaks per shift (unpaid).
