Our Team. Our Passion. Our Approach.

There is a requirement for an Electrical Supervisor onsite to assist in the preparation and implementation of works on multiple Main control panels. The expectation is to handle one panel and its associated field wiring at a time, but this is open to change.

The main panels hold 400Vac down to 24 Vdc, and works will be performed on all.

As this is a live system, you will need to liaise with the client. The windows have been released, but a requirement to hand over the equipment from the client to us and vice versa is needed. This will form a report of the works performed during the outage.

Tasks will include:

Preparation works:

  • Correct shutdown of the panel and the hardware.
  • Generate a list of material if and when required.
  • Lock off tag out.
  • Reviewing work schedule and managing the team of 3 electrical installers.
  • Issuing out drawings and supporting them when there is an issue and liaising with the electrical designer where required.
  • Ensuring any changes that are made or errors found are presented to the designer, and once agreed, red line drawings to be provided and confirmed by the supervisor.

Implementation works:

  • Correct shutdown of the panel and the hardware.
  • Lock off tag out.
  • Supervising the works from the electrical engineers and ensuring that all checks are completed prior to handing over to the controls team.
  • Managing any issues identified during testing and commissioning.
  • Support the electrical controls team during the process, which would expect coverage throughout the day and night, based on a 10-hour shift.
  • Final red lines to be checked and issued to the electrical designer.

During your time onsite, you may be required to cover the following:

  • Accept deliveries to site.
  • Assist and aid with moving the deliveries to the designated location.
  • Conduct health and safety audits on areas.

Requirements:

  • Able to read AutoCAD Drawings.
  • Electrically trained.
  • First aid ticket.
  • SSSTS as a minimum.

Flexible working is required to align with the client's requirements. There will be a rota to work to; at this point, there is no weekend working, but this may change.
