Job description

We're looking for an Electrically Supervisor to join our Hard FM team based at Neath Port Talbot Hospital.

Location: Neath Port Talbot Hospital - on site

Hours: 40 hours per week

What will you be responsible for?

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will provide leadership, support, and expertise to deliver the contractual requirements of PFI facilities at Neath Port Talbot Hospital site. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team where you will have access to training and progression. Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  1. Plan and prioritise workload to achieve service delivery.
  2. Ensure all work is completed to Health & Safety standards and compliance.
  3. Liaise with Maintenance and Contract Managers to ensure that all conditions of the contract are being met and that there is efficient and effective utilisation of labour, materials, plant, and equipment within the allocated budgets.
  4. Manage and monitor site activities and the physical progress of work for on-time delivery, site safety, quality, and environmental responsibilities.
  5. Ensure the satisfactory completion of all projects to meet agreed deadlines.
  6. Manage and monitor reports, attend meetings, and accurately review all workloads.
  7. Monitor helpdesk jobs to ensure they are correctly logged and completed within the correct timelines.
What are we looking for?

This role of Electrical Supervisor is ideal if you:

  • Have experience working across multiple aspects of maintenance.
  • Possess substantial practical experience, ideally within a PFI or health sector setting.
  • Are a good communicator, both verbally and in writing, with a good level of computer literacy.
  • Have an electrical bias; essential.
  • Possess HV Authorised Person / switching experience; beneficial.
  • Have knowledge of statutory requirements and current legislation.
  • Hold a recognised apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent training, and relevant management training.
  • Hold a Full UK Drivers Licence.
