Qualifications

• Experience supervising electrical installations or teams.
• Hands-on experience with solar PV and/or battery storage systems.
• Qualified to 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Qualified Electrician.
• Commercial awareness and ability to track on-site costs.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support on-site electrical personnel, including electricians, trainees, and subcontractors.
• Champion safe working practices and ensure compliance with legislation and internal procedures.
• Oversee installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of solar and battery systems.
• Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and quality control checks.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve on-site efficiency.
• Provide feedback from completed projects to improve future delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site.
• Track labour and material usage to support cost management.
• Collaborate with project teams to keep delivery aligned with timelines and budgets.

£65,000 - £70,000 Basic + Overtime + Bonus + Van + Fuel Card

Monday - Friday - 8am - 4pm

About the Role

In this role, you'll take ownership of on-site electrical teams delivering solar PV and battery storage installations. Beyond day-to-day supervision, you'll help shape a positive team environment, uphold strict safety standards, and contribute to improving how projects are delivered.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and supporting site-based electrical personnel, including qualified electricians, trainees, and subcontract partners
• Championing safe working practices and ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation and internal procedures
• Overseeing installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of solar and battery systems
• Carrying out site audits, risk assessments, and quality control checks
• Spotting opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency on-site
• Feeding back insights from completed projects to strengthen future delivery
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical electrical issues when they arise
• Tracking labour and material usage to support cost management
• Collaborating with project teams to keep delivery aligned with timelines and budgets
