Job summary

FYBA Talent seeks an Electrical Supervisor for a water treatment site near Wellingborough. The contract role runs for approx. 8 weeks with a £30/hour rate and 45 hours per week. Start 3 August. Accommodation is not offered; commuting is required.

The ideal candidate will have JIB Gold Card, 18th Edition, relevant apprenticeship/NVQ, own tools and PPE, SSSTS, and Safety Critical Medical. Transport to rural site is necessary.

Qualifications

• JIB Gold Card required.
• 18th Edition required.

• SSSTS qualification preferred.
• Safety Critical Medical required.
• Anglian Water Passport preferred but not essential.
• Own transport to reach site (rural).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day workload of the site team and delegate tasks.
• Lead and coordinate electricians and technicians on site with focus on safety and standards.
• Provide guidance to electrical team ensuring compliance with industry regs and safety practices.
• Ensure electrical team meets performance, quality and time targets.
• Inspect and supervise testing of electrical systems and equipment for design and safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and minimise downtime.
• Ensure work complies with Health and Safety standards and risk assessments.
• Assist in planning and scheduling electrical tasks to meet timelines and budgets.

Our client, a leading water sector specialist are looking for an Electrical Supervisor for a water treatment site near Wellingborough.

As this role is working on a water treatment site, ideally candidates will have previous experience within the water sector however industrial experience may be considered.

This is a contract position read below for full details:

Rate:£30 per hour (may be negotiable)
Hours: 45 per week

Job Outline

• Oversee the day-to-day workload of the site team, including task delegation by the Project Engineer, managing tooling, paperwork and time management.
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of electricians and technicians on site, ensuring high standards of work and safety.
• Provide guidance and support to the electrical team, ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety practices.
• Ensure that the electrical team meets performance, quality, and time-related targets.
• Conduct inspections and supervise testing of electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all electrical work is carried out in strict adherence to Health and Safety standards, risk assessments, and relevant regulation
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of electrical tasks to ensure that project timelines and budgets are met
