Job summary

Fyba Talent is recruiting on behalf of a water sector client for an Electrical Supervisor at a water treatment site near Wellingborough. The contract runs 8 weeks+ starting 3 August.

45 hours per week at £30/hour, with no lodge offered; commutable from rural location. You will oversee site electrical teams, ensure safety, regulate work to standards, manage tooling and paperwork, and coordinate with the Project Engineer.

Qualifications

• JIB Gold Card is required.
• 18th Edition is required.
• Relevant Apprenticeship/NVQ in Electrical.
• Own tools and PPE are required.
• SSSTS is required.
• Safety Critical Medical is required.
• Anglian Water Passport preferred but not essential.
• You will need your own transport to reach site as it is rural.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day workload of the site team, including task delegation by the Project Engineer, managing tooling, paperwork and time management.
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of electricians and technicians on site, ensuring high standards of work and safety.
• Provide guidance and support to the electrical team, ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety practices.
• Ensure that the electrical team meets performance, quality, and time-related targets.
• Conduct inspections and supervise testing of electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all electrical work is carried out in strict adherence to Health and Safety standards, risk assessments, and relevant regulation.
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of electrical tasks to ensure that project timelines and budgets are met.

Our client, a leading water sector specialist are looking for an Electrical Supervisor for a water treatment site near Wellingborough.

As this role is working on a water treatment site, ideally candidates will have previous experience within the water sector however industrial experience may be considered.

This is a contract position read below for full details:
