Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead domestic and MOD electrical projects from the Keith office, covering Elgin, Moray and surrounding areas. You’ll supervise on-site electrical works, support electricians, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality installations across private and MOD contracts.

The role combines hands-on supervision with team mentoring and customer liaison.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with strong domestic experience.
• Experience supervising or leading a team on-site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise domestic electrical installations and maintenance works.
• Oversee EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports).
• Manage electrical works for kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.
• Coordinate works across MOD and private sector contracts.
• Carry out quality inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor electricians and apprentices on site.
• Liaise with customers, site managers and office to keep projects on track.
• Maintain high health and safety standards and complete documentation.

Electrical Supervisor – Domestic & MOD Projects

£45,000 DOE
Keith (covering Elgin, Moray and surrounding areas)

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to joinmy clients growing team based in Keith. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading by example while remaining hands-on, overseeing a variety of domestic and MOD electrical projects.

The Role

As an Electrical Supervisor, you'll be responsible for supervising electrical works, supporting electricians on site, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising domestic electrical installations and maintenance works
• Overseeing EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports)
• Managing electrical works for kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
• Coordinating works across MOD and private sector contracts
• Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring compliance with current regulations
• Supporting and mentoring electricians and apprentices
• Liaising with customers, site managers and the office to ensure projects run smoothly
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety and completing relevant documentation

The role will primarily cover Keith, Elgin and the surrounding Moray area, operating fromtheir Keith office.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Electrician with strong domestic experience
• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• Experience carrying out and reviewing EICRs
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations and safe working practices
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to motivate a team while remaining hands-on when required
