Job description

Anderselite are working with a well known contractor who are seeking an Electrical Supervisor (either permanently or freelance/contract) to join their Water/utilities division.

Location Guildford, Surrey

An Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical installations, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards. This includes supervising a team of electricians, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with other teams involved in the project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising Electrical Installations:
Ensuring all electrical work is carried out according to specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Managing a Team:
Leading and guiding a team of electricians, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Ensuring Compliance:
Overseeing the adherence to relevant electrical standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Coordinating with Other Teams:
Working with other teams (e.g., mechanical, process) to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Commissioning and Testing:
Participating in the commissioning and testing of electrical systems to ensure they function correctly.
- Reporting:
Providing progress reports and updates on electrical work to project managers or other stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering Knowledge: A strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation practices.
- Supervisory Experience: Experience in leading and managing teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, other teams, and stakeholders.
