Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company, on behalf of a leading UK ICP in EV charging, seeks an Electrical Supervisor to oversee installation, inspection and testing of electrical systems across UK projects.

This hands-on role suits a qualified electrician with strong technical skills, attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high standards. You will supervise site activities and support project delivery while ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical supervision and leading a team.
• Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical installations.
• C&G L3 Electrotechnical Qualification; BS7671 regulations knowledge; inspection and testing competency.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers to plan and deploy resources for electrical installation works.
• Manage the daily planners for Electrical Installers.
• Produce take-off sheets from designs and procure relevant electrical installation materials.
• Ensure installations comply with BS7671 and company processes for quality.
• Review site RAMS and Programmes of Work and ensure safety on site.
• Carry out Health & Safety Audits and Toolbox Talks with installers on site.
• Prepare and sign off electrical installation certificates per NICEIC standards.
• Assist in compiling handover documentation for projects.

Job description

TGRC has partnered with a leading UK Independent Connection Provider (ICP) specialising in EV charging infrastructure. The business delivers end-to-end solutions that are helping to accelerate the UK's transition towards a more sustainable, net-zero future.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Electrical Supervisor to oversee the installation, inspection, and testing of electrical systems across projects throughout the UK.

This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified and competent electrician who combines strong technical expertise with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work to the highest standards. You will play a key role in supervising site activities, supporting project delivery, and ensuring that all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with the required standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers to plan and deploy resources for electrical installation works.
• Manage the daily planners for Electrical Installers.
• Produce take-off sheets from designs and procure all relevant electrical installation materials.
• Ensure all installations are compliant with BS7671, using your expertise alongside company systems and processes to manage quality.
• Compile, review, and challenge site-specific RAMS and Programmes of Work.
• Carry out Health & Safety Audits and Toolbox Talks with installers on site.
• Prepare, review, and sign off electrical installation certificates in line with NICEIC or equivalent standards.
• Assist Project Managers in compiling all required handover documentation for each project.
• Any other reasonable request aligned with this role as directed by the Operations Manager.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical supervision and leading a team.
• Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical installations.
• C&G L3 Electrotechnical Qualification
• C&G BS7671:2018 Wiring Regulations
• C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection and Testing
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• JIB/CSCS Card
• Strong leadership and management skills

• AP Low Voltage
• Experience with EV charging systems (advantageous but not essential)
