Electrical Supervisor
North Kent
Contracts

1st Step Solutions are supporting a Tier 1 M&E Contractor who are looking for an Electrical Supervisor in North Kent. We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our client on an ongoing commercial/industrial project in North Kent commencing in May 2025.

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will have previous experience working direct for a Tier 1 M&E Contractor with prior experience working on industrial projects.

Responsibilities:
  1. Co-ordination of the installation.
  2. Supervising Contractors and Subcontractors, ensuring all direct staff and Subcontractors are adequately trained and adhering to H&S procedures.
  3. Conducting toolbox talks, ordering materials, completing schedules of work, scheduling materials to ensure programme of works delivered.
  4. Liaise with Managers on a regular basis, reporting on any and all works conducted on site.
  5. Managing variations.
  6. Ensuring the quality of the installation was of a high standard.
  7. Carrying out site surveys.
  8. Ensuring the installation was snag free.
  9. Paperwork management; RFI's, method statements, risk assessments, site diaries, progress reports.
Requirements:
  1. SSSTS/SMSTS.
  2. ECS/Jib Gold Card.
  3. Previous experience in a Supervisory/Management role.
  4. Previous experience of working on commercial projects.
