Job Role: Electrical Supervisor

Location: HMP Downview

Salary: £45,303.07 + an additional £2,500 in RRA per annum

Contract: Full Time - Perm (39hrs)

HMP Downview operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to keep it functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, we are committed to ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference by providing a safe and secure environment.

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS, seeking an Electrical Supervisor with the following qualifications and experience:

• Five years' experience as an electrician or equivalent
• Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems and building services
• Experience supervising staff
• Full driving license (preferably with D1)
• C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
• Certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements For Electrical Installations
• 18th Edition
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organizational, time management, and people skills
