Job description
Overview

Electrical Supervisor. Permanent, Full Time. 37.5 hours per week. Location: Mitie, Unit 5 Scot Court, Matford Park Road, Exeter, Devon, England, EX2 8AW. Salary: £22.96 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Site managing client-specified works for main contracts and overseeing a project team of direct employees and subcontractors to deliver the works programme.
  • Develop client relationships within the contract and manage projects and associated small works secured by MITIE, either in framework contracts or stand-alone projects.
  • Produce, update, and monitor project reports for contract and operations managers; maintain competence in fabric and building services project management.
  • Maintain close professional contact with management and clients to monitor customer satisfaction; ensure adherence to the company's Health & Safety policy.
  • Manage site delivery team and determine priorities with the Projects Team for allocation of direct and sub-contract labour.
  • Liaise with project supervisors to deploy resources for building fabric and M&E trades and other project works; monitor labour to maintain MITIE’s standards per company procedures.
  • Assist in preparing project programmes to meet contract requirements and optimise use of direct and sub-contract labour.
  • Coordinate with client representatives and contract managers to ensure works are completed within agreed timescales; undertake site safety tasks, CDM, toolbox talks, method statements, risk assessments, and site inspections per MITIE procedures.
  • Manage projects with values up to £10m (majority £500k–£5m); oversee all aspects of site activity and travel between client sites from Exeter office.
