Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Hourly Rate of Pay: £22.96

Contract Type: Permanent

Type of Employment: Full Time

Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 37.5

Location: Mitie, Unit 5 Scot Court, Matford Park Road, Exeter, Devon, England, EX2 8AW

Responsibilities
  • Site managing all client-specified works for main contracts, while also overseeing a dedicated project team of direct employees and sub-contractors to deliver the works programme; develop client relationships within the contract.
  • Manage projects and associated small works secured by MITIE, either in framework contracts or stand-alone projects; ensure delivery in a profitable and creditable way and aim to exceed customer expectations.
  • Produce, update, and monitor project reports for contract and operations managers; demonstrate competency in fabric and building services project management; maintain close professional contact with management and clients to monitor customer satisfaction; ensure adherence to the company Health & Safety policy.
  • Site managing project awards operationally, in liaison with contract and operations managers; manage the site delivery team and determine priorities with the Projects Team for the allocation of direct and sub-contract labour.
  • Liaise with project supervisors to ensure effective deployment in completing building fabric and M&E trades; manage and monitor direct and sub-contract labour to maintain MITIE standards; assist in preparing project programmes to meet contract requirements and optimise labour use.
  • Liaise with client representatives and contract managers to ensure works are completed within agreed timescales; undertake site safety activities, CDM, toolbox talks, method statements, risk assessments, and site inspections in line with MITIE procedures.

  • Based out of the Exeter office with travel between client sites; valid CSCS Card and SSSTS as a minimum.
  • Key skills: customer care and relationship-building, site management, knowledge of building fabric and M&E services, health and safety management, ELV systems and procedures, commercial awareness, planning, and change management.
