Qualifications

Overview

Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Location: South West London

Salary: Up to £60,000 per year

Job type: Full Time - Permanent, Monday-Friday

We are a long established South West London based Electrical Company. We deal primarily with Commercial and Domestic works and are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor (Senior Electrician/additional Qualified Supervisor) to join our existing management team. This has the potential to grow into Contract Managing, following initial success for the right candidate. This role offers an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership position within a growing company, with potential for career progression into management a realistic step. You will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality at all times.

Role & responsibilities
  • Conduct electrical quality checks on employees to ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Carry out electrical post-inspection audits to verify compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Oversee and sign off electrical testing, inspections, and maintenance works.
  • Perform van stock checks and PPE inspections to ensure electricians are properly equipped.
  • Provide technical support, guidance, and training to engineers.
  • Occasionally liaise with clients to maintain strong working relationships and uphold service standards.
Key Requirements
  • Computer literate to complete reports, prepare quotations with specifications, and complete certification.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to work closely with the Principal Duty Holder.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience in supervising electricians and quality checking electrical works, preferably in a domestic setting.
  • City and Guilds 2360/2365 NVQ Level 3 Parts 1 and 2
  • City and Guilds 2357 Including AM2
  • City and Guilds 2392 - Fundamental Certification, Inspection and Testing
  • City and Guilds 2394 - Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations
