Your new role

  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement comprehensive training plans
  • Uphold the image, professionalism, and reputation of the technical team at all times
  • Supervise the on-site Electrical technical team to ensure smooth operations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical service delivery matters
  • Represent technical services in key meetings, including weekly E-minus sessions
  • Prioritise and manage shift workloads, ensuring timely completion of PPMs, CMs, and reactive tasks within SLA deadlines; escalate concerns to the Hard Services Supervisor
  • Maintain effective shift handover communication through verbal briefings, logbooks, email, and status boards
  • Coordinate with other FM Workplace Solutions providers to ensure seamless, integrated service delivery; deliver prompt and clear feedback to customers through various channels
  • Act as the designated Authorised Person for overseeing work activities involving internal teams and specialist contractors
  • Ensure all team members consistently understand and apply Safe System of Work practices
  • Lead shift-based training initiatives using real-world scenarios and O&M insights; operate critical plant equipment as authorised
  • Promote strict adherence to health and safety policies and procedures for all staff and subcontractors
  • Conduct toolbox talks, workplace inspections, and audits at scheduled intervals, supporting the Hard Services Supervisor

  • 2391 Testing & Inspection
  • Level 3 Installation (NVQ or C&G)
  • Experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in supervision
  • In-depth understanding of the facilities management sector
  • Proven track record of collaborating with supply partners to ensure smooth, integrated service delivery
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard PC applications
  • Highly self-driven and resourceful with a proactive mindset
  • Solid administrative capabilities with attention to detail
  • Well-organised and methodical in approach
  • Skilled in effective prioritisation and forward planning
  • Strong background in customer service and client-facing roles
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to engage at all organisational levels
  • Service-focused with a flair for innovative problem-solving
