What You'll Be Doing

As an Electrical Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standard. You'll manage the day-to-day delivery of all electrical tasks, from installations to testing and support a team of electricians through leadership and guidance.

Key Areas of Daily Tasks
  • Supervise Electrical Operations: Oversee electrical installations, responsive repairs, planned works, heating systems, and full rewires - ensuring safety, quality, and cost-efficiency.
  • Act as Qualified Supervisor (QS): Review, validate, and sign off all electrical certification and testing documentation in line with NICEIC and BS7671 standards.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Support and mentor your team, monitor individual and team performance, and ensure qualifications and training stay up to date.
  • Customer Service Leadership: Handle escalated customer issues promptly, supporting high satisfaction through clear communication and professional resolutions.
  • Compliance & Record-Keeping: Ensure all inspection, testing, and remedial works are properly recorded, compliant, and audit-ready.
  • Health & Safety Focus: Promote and enforce safe working practices, correct use of PPE, and adherence to health and safety legislation.
  • Support and Collaboration: Liaise with internal stakeholders, deputise for the Senior Electrical Operations Manager, and contribute to strategic improvements.
What You'll Need

We're seeking someone who brings both technical expertise and team leadership. You'll need to demonstrate:

  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience in electrical works.
  • City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395, or equivalent inspection & testing qualifications.
  • City & Guilds 2360, 2330, or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or approved equivalents).
  • AM2 qualification and significant post-qualification experience.
  • Current or previous Qualified Supervisor (QS) status with a recognised body (e.g., NICEIC or NAPIT).
  • A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel across properties in our region.
