Qualifications

Job description

Another brilliant opportunity to join this multi-disciplinary company, specialising heavily in the water sector!

Supporting six long-term water sector frameworks and two recently won frameworks, they operate both as a sole contractor but also in joint ventures and alliances – the best of both worlds!

The Role

They are looking to strengthen their team with aElectricalSite Supervisor, initially on a large project in Dorset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of site Electrical installations
  • Ensuring SHE standards are maintained and safe systems of work are being adhered to.
  • Ensuring a high-quality product is being produced in line with current standards and specifications.
  • Monitor supply chain performance and programme
  • Review and monitor supplier inspection and test plans ensuring they are up to date and relevant to the work activity.
  • Attend site inductions and toolbox talks.
  • As Electrical Appointed Person, ensure electrical safety rules are adhered to and supporting documentation is produced in line with electrical safety rules.
  • Carry out regular electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipment.

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you’ll have been in the Site Supervisor role for at least 4-5 years, within the water sector but as an essential requirement, you must have the following:

  • SMSTS
  • Appointed Person Status
  • FAAW
  • ECS card
  • C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations
  • NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations
  • IEE 18thedition wiring regs
