ELECTRICAL SITE SUPERVISOR

Location: LONDON

What you will be doing:

We are seeking an Electrical Site Supervisor to join Thames, a Galliford Try business. You will supervise and control all electrical activities on site, ensuring work is performed efficiently, to specifications, within the contract's time and budget, and with a focus on health and safety and quality.

  1. Support the Site Manager in maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel and visitors.
  2. Ensure compliance with Galliford Try’s Electrical Safety Rules and The Electricity at Work Regulations.
  3. Verify that all relevant documents and HS&E records are current and accurately describe the work.
  4. Review Method Statements and Risk Assessments, supervise work accordingly.
  5. Record progress, inspect incoming materials, and ensure traceability where necessary.
  6. Ensure site testing complies with IEE 17th Edition standards.
  7. Record non-conformances and improvement opportunities, and coordinate corrective actions.
  8. Prioritize health and safety in all tasks and promote a safe working environment.
  9. Assist in planning, liaising with customers and other trades, and managing project documentation.
  10. Contribute to project reporting, quality, safety, and environmental policies.
About You:
  • Experience in water/wastewater or relevant industries.
  • City & Guilds Electrical Installation, 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
  • First Aid, SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS/ECS, HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering, City & Guilds APLV Certificate.
