Yolk Recruitment Ltd is working with a leading UK food manufacturer to recruit an Electrical Site Services Engineer in Poole, Dorset. This role offers Monday to Friday days (7:30am‑4:00pm) and a salary of £48,000, with no regular night shifts or weekend work.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial facilities, utilities or building services maintenance.
• Strong fault‑finding skills across three‑phase systems, motors and control panels.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across site services and building infrastructure.
• Diagnose and repair faults across three‑phase systems, motors, control panels, contactors and relays.
• Maintain electrical distribution systems, switchgear, distribution boards and isolators.
• Support electrical maintenance of industrial utilities (boilers, compressors, refrigeration, pumps, ventilation).
• Carry out electrical installation work, component replacements and upgrades on site.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings to identify faults and support maintenance.
• Support electrical compliance activities, including inspection, testing, safe isolation procedures.
• Coordinate external contractors and service providers, ensuring work is safe and compliant.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and energy efficiency across site infrastructure.
