Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is seeking an Electrically Biased Site Services Engineer in Shepton Mallet to maintain and fault-find across site services and utilities. You will support boilers, steam systems, pumps and HVAC, with varied maintenance across a large manufacturing site.

The role requires an electrically biased background, time-served qualifications, and strong fault-finding skills in an industrial setting. A 4-on 4-off shift pattern is offered along with a competitive package and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Electrical fault-finding skills in an industrial setting.
• Experience across site services, utilities or industrial plant.
• Comfortable working with three-phase motors, pumps and control equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and fault-find across site services and utilities including steam, compressed air, water, refrigeration/chilled systems and HVAC.
• Fault-find on PLC-controlled systems, including I/O and field devices.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across site infrastructure.
• Support boiler and steam systems, pumps, valves and distribution equipment.
• Carry out mechanical maintenance on pumps, motors, valves and bearings.
