Responsibilities

  • Installation, maintenance, testing, inspection, and commissioning of low voltage switchgear.
  • Carry out site assessments, wiring, interconnection, testing, and commissioning of LV switchgear/BMS systems.
  • Field-based role with travel to various sites, including some internationally.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer with previous experience in Low Voltage Switchgear and a strong technical background in power systems

The Site Engineer role will be field based and will involve a great deal of varied working environments across a wide range of industry sectors. The role will involve aspects such as installation, maintenance, testing and inspection and commissioning of low voltage switchgear up to 6300A 100kVA. You will carry out site assessments, wiring and Interconnection/ testing/ commissioning of LV switchgear/BMS systems

Experience in LV switchgear mechanical and electrical engineering is essential, as is the ability to work with initiative and the desire to always meet client requirements. You will also need Relevant training in Health and Safety awareness; IOSH and NEBOSH General Certificate, CSCS Card, SSSTS training or equivalent

Work will predominantly be UK-based, but also will cover some sites internationally. Due to the location of some customer sites, you will be expected to travel and work away when necessary,
