Ravensearch is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a £20 million M&E project in Bath. You will run the on-site delivery from mobilisation through to commissioning, handover and close-out, leading site teams and specialist subcontractors.
The role is permanent with a settled Bath-based footprint and funded accommodation for non-local applicants, with further Bath-area work lined up after this project completes.
This is an Electrical Project Manager role built around a substantial piece of work: a £20 million M&E project in Bath, which you would run on site from the front. Projects of that value do not come along often for an electrical PM, and it is the kind of scheme that defines a delivery track record.
The role is site-based in Bath, with the initial programme running to around twelve months. It is not a one-off assignment though. The client has further projects lined up in the Bath area to follow, so this is a permanent role with a settled base of work in the region rather than a fixed-term contract that ends after a year.
The client is speaking primarily to candidates in and around Bath and the South West, but is also open to people elsewhere, including the North-West, who are happy to travel to Bath for the project. For candidates travelling from further afield, such as the North-West, the client will fund accommodation while on site, so it is a realistic move whether you are local or coming from further away.
This is a permanent role paying £70,000 to £80,000 depending on experience, plus a full benefits package.
Our client is a well-established M&E engineering specialist with national reach. They design, build and maintain highly serviced, controlled and process-critical facilities across a range of demanding sectors, with mechanical, electrical, design and delivery capability held in-house.
Their work is a long way from standard commercial building services. Much of it is carried out within live, regulated and operationally sensitive environments, where the engineering has to accommodate strict process, compliance and programme requirements. Delivering an M&E project of this scale and complexity is exactly the kind of work the business is built around, and the person running it needs to be comfortable operating at that level.
Accreditations include ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. The business has grown on the strength of delivery and long-term client relationships, which is why there is a run of work in the Bath area behind this project rather than a single job.
