Electrical Site Manager Position

An established M&E contractor, based in Manchester city centre, is looking for an ambitious Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical aspects of their development projects.

You will have the opportunity to prove yourself within a company working on some of Manchester’s most prestigious projects.

Responsibilities

1. Managing the entire electrical fit-out elements of the project
2. Assisting the operations manager with raising necessary issues
3. Retrieving quotes to ensure supply costs are competitive
4. Technical liaison and review with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors
5. Attending meetings and site visits as required
6. Learning and working within site management procedures
7. Developing your role and responsibilities, with rewards for progression

Experience Required

• Previous experience working on projects worth £20,000 to £3,000,000 (M&E value)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reading/interpreting drawings
• Electrical qualifications such as NVQ, HNC are desirable but not essential
• Experience as an electrician is essential
• Experience managing sub-contractors and suppliers in a supervisory capacity is essential
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, including clients
