Electrical Site Manager Opportunity - Hull - £20m MEP Value Distribution Centre Project


MK Search are working with a tier 1 MEP Contractor with a big presence in the commercial, data centre and industrial sectors who are experiencing a massive period of growth and are looking to recruit an Electrical Site Manager for a £20m MEP value distribution centre in Hull. The company in question have a turnover of c. £150m and have operations across the UK, Ireland and Europe with a big presence in the data centre, commercial and life sciences sectors.


You will be reporting into the Electrical Lead while overseeing the electrical aspects of the project throughout its delivery phases. You will be responsible for the day to day management of site activities mechanically, developing and issuing RAMs, enforcing health and safety, QA, liaising with the main contractor and the client and ensuring that all mechanical packages are delivered to a high standard.


Requirements:

  1. Experience working on high value electrical projects (£10m+)
  2. Strong knowledge of electrical installations.
  3. Familiarity with building regulations, health & safety standards, and industry best practices.
  4. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  6. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with site teams and stakeholders.
  7. Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
  8. CSCS card, SMSTS/SSSTS, and First Aid certification (desirable).

The company in question have a variety of projects upcoming across the UK and in the South, presently they have an order book stretching to 2030 and beyond.
