A leading construction firm is seeking an Electrical Site Manager for a clean water treatment project in the Bury St Edmunds area. The role involves overseeing snagging and commissioning of electrical installations, along with managing safety protocols and communication on site. Candidates must hold relevant certifications including the SMSTS and Black Electrical Site Managers card, with a competitive daily rate offered based on experience. Accommodation can be discussed due to location.

Qualifications

• Three day first aid minimum and Electrical Authorised Person.
• EUSR Clean Water card would be beneficial; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage snagging on nearly completed electrical installations.
• Oversee commissioning of the system once operational.
• Issue permits for daily tasks and conduct toolbox talks.

Job description

Requirement for a Electrical Site Manager:

• Working on a clean water treatment site in the Bury St Edmunds area.
• Must hold SMSTS and Black Electrical site managers card.
• Three day first aid minimum and Electrical Authorised Person.
• Managing the snagging on a near completion electrical installation;
• Will also be managing during the commissioning of the system once up and running.
• Will be issuing permits for daily tasks, toolbox talks and daily briefings to all engineers on site.
• Must have full orange PPE and full 5 point PPE.
• Starting as soon as possible and running for the next 3-4 months minimum.
• Accommodation can be discussed also due to location.
• Rate dependant on experience. £400 to £450+ per day
• EUSR Clean Water card would be benefitable, but training can be provided.
