Electrical Shift Technician – Guildford

We’re looking for a skilled Data Center Shift Technician to ensure the smooth operation of critical mechanical and engineering systems. You'll play a vital role in preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and system reliability.

What You’ll Do:

Perform daily inspections and maintenance on M&E systems.

Monitor and respond to BMS alarms and HVAC issues.

Conduct preventative & reactive maintenance on all equipment.

Work with vendors to ensure compliance with standards.

Perform facility walkthroughs and take meter readings (UPS, PDUs, utilities).

Troubleshoot and resolve plant and facility issues.

Follow all safety, regulatory, and quality protocols.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

What You Bring:

Technical training (apprenticeship or equivalent) with 1-2 years’ experience.

Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends/holidays.

Physically fit to meet job demands.

Strong communication & organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Basic math skills for simple calculations.
