Job summary

Meridian Business Support is seeking an Electrical Shift Engineer for a permanent role at a prestigious automotive brand’s global headquarters in Woking, Surrey. You will perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and emergencies across electrical and mechanical systems, with on-call duties on a shared rota.

Working 40 hours across rotating shifts (early, day, late), you’ll contribute to a high-profile site and benefit from overtime rates, a strong benefits package and pension.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (2360) or equivalent.
• Experience fault diagnosis and rectification in building maintenance.
• Experience delivering electrical elements of general building PPM schedules.
• Experience with electrical installation, testing and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities.
• Attend call-outs and diagnose faults to complete repairs.
• Work safely in line with Health and Safety regulations.
