Job Description:

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a growing facilities maintenance company in an iconic building near Paddington Station. This commercial office building has 18 floors and is brand new. Our client is looking for a key team member to join their professional maintenance team, ensuring the delivery of excellent service. The role involves working a Continental Shift Pattern.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial maintenance, including emergency lighting, hot and cold water systems, fire alarm checks, FCUs, AHUs, UPS, BMS, and riser experience. Specific knowledge of FCUs, water treatment, and HVAC systems is required. Previous experience in a corporate, client-facing environment would be advantageous, as this is a highly corporate site. Qualifications required include City and Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2, and 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations.

Duties:
  • Performing daily PPM and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Handling daily emergency callouts
  • Completing logbooks and RAMS
  • Testing emergency lighting systems
  • Electrical work including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, BMS, lighting systems, and heat exchangers
  • Carrying out duties related to toilets, drainage, tiling, and sinks
  • Demonstrating knowledge of AHU, FCU, UPS, generators, LV systems, with fault-finding capabilities
Requirements:
  • Trade-trained with ideally 3 years’ experience in building services
  • City & Guilds Qualified Electrical Level 3 OR Mechanical Bias
