Job description

Electrical Shift Engineer – Marylebone - £48,000

Location: Marylebone

Salary: £48,000

Hours: Continental Shift 7AM - 7PM

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a growing facilities maintenance company based in a Banking Institute near Marylebone Station. We are looking for a key team member to complete our professional maintenance team and ensure the delivery of excellent service. You will be working a Continental Shift Pattern.

The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial maintenance experience, including emergency lighting, hot and cold water systems, fire alarm checks, FCUs, AHUs, UPS, BMS, and riser experience. Knowledge of FCUs, water treatment, and HVAC is essential. Previous experience in a corporate client-facing environment would be advantageous, as this is a very corporate site. Qualifications required include City and Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2, and 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily PPM and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Handle emergency callouts
  • Complete logbooks and RAMS
  • Attend client meetings
  • Test emergency lighting systems
  • Perform all electrical work including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, BMS, lighting systems, and heat exchangers
  • Carry out duties related to toilets, drainage, tiling, and sinks
  • Demonstrate knowledge of AHU, FCU, UPS, generators, LV systems, with fault-finding abilities

Requirements:

  • Trade-trained with at least 3 years' experience in building services
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition
  • Good knowledge of building services
  • Excellent client-facing skills
