An exciting opportunity has become available with a leading facilities maintenance provider, based at a high-profile commercial site near London Bridge Station. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join an established on-site team, delivering maintenance services across a dynamic corporate environment.

This role offers a salary of £53,000, a benefits package, and career development opportunities.

As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently. You will work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, requiring strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily PPM and reactive maintenance across the site
  • Respond to and resolve emergency callouts promptly
  • Maintain accurate site records, logbooks, and RAMS documentation
  • Attend client meetings and uphold high service standards
  • Conduct emergency lighting testing and reporting
  • Perform electrical maintenance: lighting, wiring, alarm systems, BMS, heat exchangers, FCUs, AHUs, UPS, generators, LV systems
  • Undertake minor plumbing and fabric tasks (e.g., sinks, toilets, tiling, drainage)
  • Fault-finding and resolving issues across building systems

Candidate Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial building services maintenance
  • Strong understanding of building services systems and compliance
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
